J´HABITE DANS UNE BOITE

DESCRIPTION

Can Student Dorms create communal  spaces without increasing its GFA?

The project studies the living environments of young people. The proposal develops a main element that is adaptable, building a piece called “WALL” that will be the structure and facilities where “BOXES” are installed, as many as needed, creating a matrix of boxes that are the student rooms . These “boxes” are quick to install, reusable, adaptable and flexible.

One goal is to create degrees of confidentiality. Accommodations for young people often have private and shared spaces, but this proposal achieves communal spaces by moving horizontally the room boxes.

This flexible type of accommodation structure can also be built as horizontal or vertical buildings.
